hello everyone! This blog will consist of a lot of updates about things that I have been lacking to blog about!

First of all:

Nicaragua! That’s right. I did go there. I haven’t posted a blog about it because I was getting caught up on my Ethiopia blogs and I also have just been really lazy. So I just want to apologize for that.

We left Ethiopia on February 28. Hopped on an 8 hr flight to Ireland where we had a 1hr fuel break. Then kept on riding to Canada where we had a 10 hr layover. Biggest culture shock moment I’ve ever experienced let me tell ya. We went from dry barren African culture to a snowy, white American culture all in the span of 20 hrs.

Then we flew from Canada to Costa Rica where we had this thing called an “awakening”. An Awakening is where multiple squads from gap year, semesters, and 11n11 are all in the same country at the same time and we meet up and have a conference! Karen Dillbeck was our keynote speaker and she spit some FIRE from the Holy Spirit. The was 3 days. Then we took a 10 hrs bus ride over the border to Nicaragua! We got there 3 am March 7!

We spent a month there prayer walking and farming! Read my Nicaragua blog to know more abt our ministry! Click here! https://elizadiamondidis.theworldrace.org/post/welcome-to-nicaragua

Then we left Nicaragua April 10. Had a mini debrief in the mountains for 2 days. Then arrived at the Adventures in Missions base in Costa on April 13! A blog about Costa coming soon!!

Lastly,, I fly home May 31! I spend a few days in Miami w my teammates. But in less than a month I will be home. Crazy that this session is almost over. Keep me and my squad in your prayers as we transition into life in America!!

Thanks for reading!!
